This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the flojob.eu service (hereinafter “we”, “the service”) processes, for what purpose, to whom we may disclose it and what rights you have. flojob.eu helps people find work in Europe and communicate with employers and partner agencies.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is the company that operates the flojob.eu service. For any privacy matters, write to info@flojob.eu — this is our single point of contact for data protection; no Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed at this time.
We do not yet publish the full name, address and registration details of the legal entity on the website — we will provide them on request sent to the same address. We are aware that Article 13(1)(a) GDPR requires the identity and contact details of the controller to be disclosed directly in the privacy policy; this is currently an open item that the owner of the service has deliberately left for later.
2. What data we collect
- Data from forms on the website: name, phone number, preferred messenger for contact, preferred country, approximate departure date and the job sectors you choose to indicate.
- Messenger conversations: the content of messages you send us via Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, and the public name or nickname of your profile.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type (user agent) and the pages of the website you view — needed for the website to work, for security and for basic visit statistics.
- Settings in your browser: the website stores a few small technical entries directly in your
browser so you don't have to set up the interface again while browsing:
fj_cat_view— the job catalogue view you chose: list or tiles;fj_viewed— the list of jobs you recently viewed, so we can show them to you again;fj_jobnav— a temporary “back to the job list” marker that lives only within the current tab and disappears as soon as you close it.
- Referral parameters: if you came to us via an advertising link, we record the click identifier
(cookie
fj_k) and theutm_*parameters from the page address (cookiefj_utm) — to understand which advertisement brought the candidate and to measure its effectiveness.
We do not collect payment card data and do not ask for special categories of data without your separate consent.
3. Data from Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
When you write to us on Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, we receive your public name/nickname and the content of your messages through the official Meta Graph API — solely in order to reply to your enquiry and help you find employment. We do not receive your password and have no access to your account. This data is processed in accordance with the Meta Privacy Policy.
TikTok. flojob.eu uses the official TikTok Content Posting API exclusively to publish
its own job content (videos and images) to its own flojob.eu TikTok account —
@praca48571372300.
For this purpose the application uses only basic information about our connected TikTok account (scope
user.info.basic) and the permissions to upload and publish videos (video.upload,
video.publish). We do not request access to the TikTok accounts of individual users,
do not read their content and do not publish on their behalf. Use of TikTok is governed by the
TikTok Privacy Policy.
4. Why and on what legal basis we process data
- Job search and replying to your enquiry — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract or as part of providing the service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Contact via messenger, newsletters and marketing offers — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Website security, analytics and ad attribution (including the
fj_kandfj_utmcookies andutm_*parameters) — our legitimate interest in protecting the service and understanding the effectiveness of candidate acquisition channels (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). - Accounting and tax records — compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
5. Who we share data with
- Hosting and database — located on servers within the European Union.
- Messenger providers you yourself choose to contact us through: Viber (Rakuten Viber), Telegram, WhatsApp/Meta.
- Meta Platforms and TikTok — within our own connected accounts, as described in section 3.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — when the advertising pixel (Meta Pixel, section 9) is connected and enabled on the website, and only for visitors who clicked “Accept all” in the consent banner: technical data about page views and application submission that Meta needs to measure ad effectiveness.
- Google Ireland Limited — when analytics (Google Analytics 4, section 9) is connected on the website: anonymised technical data about page views for visit statistics.
- Employers and partner agencies — only your name, contact details and job preferences, and only after you have separately agreed to be submitted for that specific vacancy.
Some of these providers (Meta, Google, TikTok, certain messengers) may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or an adequacy decision. We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. How long we keep data
- An application or enquiry with no further contact — 12 months from the last activity.
- Active cooperation with a candidate — up to 3 years after the last contact.
- Technical website logs — up to 12 months.
- Messenger conversations — up to 24 months.
- Accounting and tax records — for as long as the law requires.
Once the retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
- to access your data and obtain a copy of what we process about you;
- to have inaccurate or outdated data corrected;
- to have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”) — see section 8;
- to restrict processing or object to it;
- to receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller (the right to data portability);
- to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
- to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.
We do not make automated decisions about you that would produce legal effects for you or similarly significantly affect you.
8. How to delete your data
To delete all your personal data from flojob.eu, send a request to info@flojob.eu with the subject “Data deletion flojob.eu”. We will process the request and confirm the deletion within 30 days.
Some data may remain after deletion — where this is necessary to comply with legal obligations (for example, accounting and tax records) or to defend against possible legal claims within the limitation periods.
9. Cookies and local browser data
Here is an honest account of what the website uses:
- Technical session cookies — needed for the basic operation of the website and the admin panel.
- Attribution cookie
fj_k— set when you follow an advertising link; lasts up to 30 days and carries only the click identifier needed to measure ad effectiveness. - Attribution cookie
fj_utm— set when you follow a link withutm_*tags (an ad, a QR code on a flyer); lasts up to 30 days and carries only these tags (source, channel, campaign), so that an application submitted on another page keeps the referral source. - localStorage and sessionStorage (described in section 2) — used for interface convenience, stored only in your browser and not sent to us.
- Consent choice cookie
fj_consent(and the same entry in localStorage) — stores your choice in the consent banner (“Accept all”, “Reject” or your own settings) for 180 days, so we don't ask every time. - Cookie
fj_lead_done— set for 1 year once you have submitted an application, so that we no longer show you the “Didn't find your job?” pop-up form. - Cookie
fj_autoform— set for a few days (as configured, usually 7) when you close the pop-up form with the cross, the Esc key or a click outside it — so that it is not shown again right away.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel — may be connected on flojob.eu at the website owner's decision (at the time of writing this section — not necessarily enabled). If connected, they work as follows:
- GA4 loads on the page immediately, but in Google Consent Mode v2: until you click “Accept all” in the banner at the bottom of the page, it does not store advertising or analytics cookies and does not identify you personally — it sends only anonymised, “cookieless” technical pings. Full analytics (pages you viewed, approximate location and device) is enabled only after your consent.
- Meta Pixel does not load at all until you consent to “Marketing” (or “Accept all”). After consent it records the page view and the application submission (the “Lead” event) to measure ad effectiveness in Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
- If you clicked “Reject” or have not made a choice yet — neither of these two tools receives data that can be linked to you personally.
How to change or withdraw consent. At any time click “Cookie settings” (or the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the site) — the same “Analytics” and “Marketing” switches will open, and you can turn them off with one click. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We do not use third-party advertising trackers other than GA4 and Meta Pixel described here.
10. Security
We transmit data only over a secure connection (HTTPS), restrict access to data according to staff roles, encrypt access keys to third-party services and keep an access log for sensitive sections of the admin panel.
11. Children
The flojob.eu service is intended for persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If you believe we have nevertheless received such data, write to info@flojob.eu — we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy — for example, when the way we process data or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available at this address, and the date of the update is shown at the top of the page.
