From 2026, the first 14 days are paid by the employer: days 1–3 — 25% of the daily base, days 4–14 — 55%.
From the 15th day — social insurance, 55%.
The doctor registers the incapacity for work electronically; if there is no record in the system, you provide the confirmation to the employer yourself.

Мінімум — 4 weeks; 5 weeks, if you turn 33 by the end of the year.
From November 1, 2025, September 1, October 28, and November 17 are public holidays, but not days off and without holiday pay. In 2026, May 8 and September 15 are also working days.
For work on a public holiday — an extra payment of at least 100% of average earnings or a day off.

Up to 40 hours per week, on average up to 48 including overtime; a 30-minute break for shifts over 6 hours; 12 hours of rest between shifts.
Overtime — minimum bonus of 25% average earnings (or time off).
Allowances are calculated from the minimum hourly rate (€5.259): night — 40% (≈€2.10 per hour), Saturday — 50% (≈€2.63), Sunday — 100% (≈€5.26).
For a shift over 4 hours, the employer provides one hot meal (and subsidizes at least 55% of its cost).

Probationary period — up to 3 months, in writing only.
Notice period — 1 month; 2 months if you have worked for at least a year.
If wages are not paid within 15 days after the due date, you can resign immediately and receive 2 months' severance pay.
